Europa Club on LAA stand at The Flying Show
Europa Aircraft are pleased to announce that the Europa Club will be in attendance at The Flying Show on the LAA stand.
The Flying Show is the UK's largest indoor Flying event and will be held at Birmingham NEC on 26th and 27th November 2011. If you are in the area, please pop by and have a chat with club members.
Europa G-XSDJ, owned by David Joyce and winner of Dawn to Dusk Challenge 2010, will be on the stand. This aircraft was part of a wonderful journey - David and Patrick Joyce won six trophies for their three D2D trips:
- Lighthouses of Western Ireland - photographing all the lighthouses around the West Coast
- Wellington's Battle Sites - visiting all of Wellington's Battle Sites in Belgium, France, Spain & Portugal. 1595nm in 12 hrs 43 mins airtime.
- Half Million Islands - visiting and photographing all 119 islands named on the standard half million scale aviation charts of Britain and Northern Ireland. 1703nm in 13hrs 05mins airtime.
They also raised over £13.000 for the Motor Neurone Disease Association.
